Besler, Basilius (Basil) (German, 1561-1629), 3 from: Hortus Eystettensis (The Garden of Eichstatt), including Plate 225, Abutilon (flowering maple), Dramatic Aloe, and Carnation; Caryophyllus, 20 x 15.75 inches, hand colored copper engravings with period color, framed in matching gilded frames and 2 with both sides showing text on reverse, frame size 24 x 20 inches,
in good period condition with some tears on the edges on several and cockling on the edge of Abutilon, sporadic imperfections in the hand made paper.
