Lingo, Mary Eleanor (American/Ohio, 1892-1988), Group of Three Still Life Paintings: Root Vegetables and Jug, Lemons and Glass Vase, and Book and Jar, 1911, pastel on paper, two of them signed and dated lower right, the smaller two in their original wood frames, sheets 18 x 22 inches (and smaller), framed 23 x 27 inches (and smaller). The artist was born in Quaker City, Ohio and studied in Cincinnati. She worked in pastels and watercolors. Other examples of her work to turn up at auction include Gibson Girl style portraits. Provenance: Peter Chillingworth Antiques, Western Pennsylvania.

Condition
