McIntosh, Martha (Prekop), Fashion Drawings, circa 1964, Five Fashion Drawings , circa 1964, watercolor, charcoal, gouache and mixed media, 15 x 11 inches, each signed McIntosh , framed measuring 17 x 13 inches, Martha (Prekop) McIntosh was a student at Fashion Institute of Technology in the 1960s. Provenance: Martin Prekop, former Dean of Carnegie Mellon College of Fine Arts. Prekop is an accomplished artist whose works can be found in the permanent collections of the Carnegie Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Seattle Art Museum, among others. As a professor, Martin was highly regarded for his technical skill and breadth of knowledge in photography and painting and his incisive critique mixed with wit and humor. Never afraid to tackle problems himself, Martin established the Zebra Lounge and built and painted all its original furniture.
