Davis, William Glen (American/Pittsburgh, 20th Century), 5 Abstract Drawing Studies, color markers on cream paper measuring 12 x 9 inches, marked on versos, unframed. Comes an artist statement and vintage photo of Davis, one of the few known pictures of the artist. Glen Davis was an active member of Pittsburgh's Group A, an artist collective whose purpose was to advance the acceptance of abstract art in Pittsburgh. Davis was an accountant by trade, and sold very few works of art during his lifetime.
