87 piece set of George T. James for Gladding McBean & Co. Franciscan Ware Starburst Atomic Design Malanite dishware, American, introduced in 1954 and in production until 1968. Includes: 9 dinner plates, 8 salad plates, 8 cups, 8 saucers, 9 small bowls, 11 bread plates, 10 coupe cereal bowls, 4 crescent plates, 2 circular platters, 2 oval platters, 1 covered butter dish, 1 salt and pepper set, 1 creamer, 1 sugar bowl, 1 coffee pot, 1 tea pot, 1 water pitcher, 1 tri part relish dish, 1 two-part serving dish, 2 oval form bowls, 1 gravy boat with ladle and underplate. Marked at undersides Franciscan, Made in CA USA, Color-Seal, Gladding, McBean & Co., oven-safe. Pieces varying in size from 5 inches to 15 inches.
