King, Albert Francis (A.F.) (American/Pittsburgh, 1854-1945), Autumn Morning on French Creek, Franklin, PA, 1916, oil on canvas, signed lower right, titled and dated on a handwritten note affixed to the back of the frame, 18 x 25 inches, in a gilt wood frame 24.5 x 31 inches. Provenance: Anderson Family, Franklin, Pennsylvania. Franklin is in Northwest PA at the confluence of French Creek and the Allegheny River, near Oil City; collection of a Pittsburgh Gentleman, Pittsburgh, PA.
