Gorson, Aaron Harry (Lithuanian/American/Western PA, 1872-1933), Nocturne Steelmaking Scene on the Monongahela River, undated, oil on canvas, relined, signed A. H. Gorson lower left, 18 x 22 inches, in a gilt wood frame 21.5 x 25.25 inches. Provenance: Western PA private collection, by descent.
In good condition, relined, flattening to the paint in upper left sky area, few small areas of loss and tiny specks of inpainting along the extreme edges, 1.5-inch horizontal stable area of crazing at upper center.
