Includes a total of 63 original bookplates. 62 of them are tipped-in; the other, for Comte de Casa Davolos, is a large engraved plate toward the front of the book; also with a lovely hand-colored title page illustration. This copy is lacking the last tipped-in bookplate, which Riquer designed for himself. Hardcover, green cloth 10.75 x 8 inches. Colophon mentions published by J. Thomas, Barcelona; spine shows Williams and Norgate [London] imprint. French text, including introductions by de Riquer and Miquel Utrillo. A remarkable and rare collection of pre-Raphaelite inspired modernistic designs by this Catalan master of the bookplate. Despite the limitation statement, this copy does not appear to be signed.
