Paxton, Ann (American/Pittsburgh/Green Valley, AZ, d.2013), Hard Edge Abstract print, 1973, screenprint on wove paper, signed, dated and numbered 7/7 in pencil along the bottom, image 16.75 inches square, full sheet 25.75 x 20 inches, unframed. Ann was a visual artist who lived in Pittsburgh from the 1950s-1990s while her husband worked at US Steel and Carnegie Mellon University. They eventually retired to Green Valley, Arizona, where the local Community Performance and Art Center art gallery is named after them. A one woman show of Ann's work, titled The Purest Form of Expression, was put on at the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno in 2007. In good condition, with minor signs of handling and age.
