Sanders, Benita (Canadian/Pacific NW, contemporary), Into the Forest, undated, late 1960s, intaglio etching on wove paper, signed, dated, titled and numbered 3/20 in pencil along the bottom, image 23.5 x 19.5 inches, full sheet 30 x 22 inches, unframed. Sanders has lived on Haida Gwaii (formerly called the Queen Charlotte Islands) since the 1960s. Her print work is included in the permanent collections of the National Gallery of Canada, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
A good impression; significant creasing and some loss to the corners of the sheet.
