Chambers, Charles Bosseron (American, 1880-1964), Portrait of an Art Deco Girl, c.1926, oil on canvas, signed lower left, 27 x 22 inches, framed 32 x 26.5 inches. Likely an illustration done for a calendar or magazine cover. Provenance: Personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski, co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg, PA. Ed was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
In good condition, with scattered area of flaking; stress marks along the perimeter from the stretcher bars. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
