Monginot, Charles (French, 1825-1900), Still Life with Coins and Jewels, mid to late 19th century, oil on canvas, signed lower right, 10.5 x 13.75 inches, in a gilt wood frame 13 x 16.5 inches. Provenance: estate of art historian Aaron Sheon, Pittsburgh, who was best known for his 1978 monograph and exhibition catalog on Adolphe Monticelli, as well as his groundbreaking research on Vincent van Gogh.
