Schreyvogel, Charles (American 1861-1912), The Last Drop, 1903, cast bronze, 5 x 12 x 18.6 inches, signed and dated "copyrighted 1903 by Charles Schreyvogel" on base reverse, foundry mark Roman Bronze Works N.Y. 1904 on left edge of the base, inscribed Edition No 29 on underside, Provenance: Knoedler Gallery, New York; Henry Clay Frick, Pittsburgh Pa., gift from Frick to Thomas Lynch (1854-1914), Charles McKenna Lynch (1884-1963), Mary Lynch Quinn (1913-1997), Michaela Quinn Landback (1947-), and by descent to the present owner.
