Harris, Charles (Teenie) (American/Pittsburgh, 1908-1998), Group portrait in Greene Hearth for Gay Ninettes Club Fashion Show, taken May 1955, printed shortly after, stamped Photo by Harris PE 1-1110 MU 3-2000 on the verso, 8 x 10 inches, unframed. Teenie Harris photos that were printed around the same time that they were taken are rare. The women in the photo have been identified as Doris Griffin, Luela Perkins, Mary Ann Woods, Mary Jean Shipmon, Lois Weaver Watson, Lorraine Wets, and Wilma Griffin, Doris Griffin, Linda Lewis and Dolores Lynch. This image can be viewed as accession number 2001.35.43608 in the Carnegie Museum of Art's archive of Harris' photography.
