Devillaine a Paris ormolu Empire mantel clock, French, c. 1800. Hand painted enamel face with pierced gilt hands. Surmounted by a seated classical figure holding a functional key. Flanked by scrolling and foliate details. Wreaths, trumpets, and putti reliefs along lower edge. Rests on 6 rounded feet. 'Devillaine a Paris' hand painted on face, otherwise apparently unmarked. 13.75 x 11 x 5 inches.
