Black Lacquered & Gold Decorated Diamond Back Regency Open Armchair, circa 1850, black lacquered Regency open-armchair with diamond/ ribbon backs and gold classical decoration. Wonderful narrow carved and tapering arms above tapered ribbed supports, the apron is also carved with ribs as well as the legs which are fluted. upholstered with loose seat pads. Height: 33 inches (83.82 cm), Width: 21.5 inches (54.61 cm), Depth: 22 inches (55.88 cm), Seat Height: 18.5 inches (46.99 cm)
