Duval-Carrie, Edouard (Haitian, b.1954), Untitled Portrait, c.2011, mixed media with glitter and resin on wood panel, in the original hammered metal frame designed by Haitian metal worker and frame maker Josnel Bruno which is signed by him at the bottom, the painting itself apparently unsigned, 10 x 8 inches, frame 16 x 14 inches. Provenance: the collection of author and historian Marcus Rediker, Pittsburgh, PA.
