Armchair after Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann's 1920s Fuseau Facettes French Art Deco design, likely late 20th century. Beautiful silhouette with formed front, barrel back, and tapered legs featuring lacquered elements in an ivory color. Approximately 34 x 23.5 x 29 inches. Provenance: Personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski, co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg, PA. Ed was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
In overall good condition. Usage related wear and lacquer loss. Abrasions throughout, particularly on legs. Upholstery with slight dents at left. Wear and stains on front edges of arms.
