An early 18th century English statuary and Turquin blue marble Mantel and Fireplace Surround of the Neoclassical Period. The frieze contains a carved center block depicting a Grecian Goddess and child as well as blue and gray panels of marble. This marble also appears in oval corner blocks and the legs. in good condition in approximately 8 pieces, was removed from it's installation in the house with plaster and cement attached to the reverse of the pieces, the Fireplace surround is in good condition and the mantle piece and sides are single pieces above the feet.
