Sottsass, Ettore, for Memphis Milano, Casablanca Cupboard in HPL print laminate, designed in 1981, produced in 1982, all original components are present, 87 x 59.5 x 15.25 inches. The most recognizable of all the Memphis pieces. This cabinet graced the back cover of The Penguin Dictionary of Decorative Arts (1989) where it was called the firm's "paradigmatic masterpiece."
