Sturgeon, Everett K. (American, Western Pa., 1920-1993), Mexican Flower Girl, 1960s, unglazed clay, 23.5 inches tall, apparently unsigned. Provenance: The Clay Place, Elvira Peake; Graham Shearing collection, Ex. At Carnegie MOA curator Vicky Clark. Sturgeon was accomplished painter and theater designer, his ceramic sculptures are rare and considered his most accomplished work.
