Frank Gehry for Easy Edges, Inc. Contour rocking chair, American, 1971. Corrugated cardboard in thick, laminated layers create a sinuous form. The Easy Edges series was designed by Gehry and manufactured by Easy Edges, Inc. in small batches from 1969 to 1973. Apparently unmarked and unlabeled. 25 x 22.5 x 42 inches.
Condition
Some light usage related abrasions. Compression mark and some debris at underside. The seat is slightly skewed to the left, leaving a slight overhang.
