Hetzel, George (German/American/Western PA, 1826-1899), Autumn Field, 1888, oil on canvas, relined, signed and dated lower left, 14 x 23 inches, in a newer wood frame 17 x 26 inches. A rare use of reds and oranges by Hetzel for this scene showcasing the foliage of Western Pennsylvania.
In generally good condition, relined, inpainting along the extreme edges, primarilly where the painting sits under the frame.
