Grosfeld House tulip chair, American, New York, NY, 1940s. Yellow finish wood with gold accents at front legs. Upholstered in a peach textile with piping. Apparently unlabeled. Approximately 39 x 26 x 24 inches. Provenance: The personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski. Ed was co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg. He was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
