Attributed to Jorge Ferrari Hardoy for Knoll BKF Butterfly ottoman, mid century modern, originally designed in Buenos Aires, Argentina by Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan, and Jorge Ferrari Hardoy in 1938. Black enameled iron base below a warm brown leather sling seat. Apparently unmarked. 18 x 17.5 x 17.5 inches. Provenance: The personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski. Ed was co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg. He was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
