Harris, Charles (Teenie) (African-American/Pittsburgh, 1908-1998), Group of 11 Photographs showing different Sporting Events in Pittsburgh, all taken by Harris for inclusion in newspapers, primarily the Pittsburgh Courier, original silver gelatin photos, each with Photo by Harris stamp on verso, plus handwritten captions (Great Effort, City Title Up for Grabs, Duffer of the Year, etc.) by an unknown sports editor, a few dated on the back ranging from 1956 to 1965. Includes football players, basketball players, boxers and golfers. Many of these images are not in the Carnegie Museum of Art's extensive Harris archive. Mostly around 4 x 6 inches. In fair condition, with expected creasing, a few with loss to the edges. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
