Neal, Harold Meredith (African-American/Pittsburgh, 1931-2013), Pencil drawing of seated nude on illustration board, signed lower right, 17 x 11.5 inches. Ink two-dimensional design study depicting art forms on illustration board, signed at right center, 11 x 17 inches. Pencil drawing study depicting boxer and coach on illustration board, unsigned, 14 x 15 inches. Neal taught art at the Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts School, at the former Ivy School of Professional Art, Downtown, and at Bucknell University, Carnegie Mellon University and La Roche College. He was the first art therapist in the former Western Penitentiary state prison in the North Side and also owned H.M. Neal Galleries in Wilkinsburg, PA.

Condition
