Harvey Probber rosewood dining room table, American, 1964. Striking rosewood figured table top resting on ebonized wood legs ending in brass caps. T-form brass stretchers. 29 x 80 x 44 inches. Includes two leaves each 16 inches wide, for a possible total width of 112 inches. Provenance: The estate of Dr. Marshall S. and Lois G. Levy, Pittsburgh. Sourced for the couple by interior designer Garth E. Massingill.

Condition

Table top with some light water damage, sun bleaching in some areas, color variation between the table and leaves, and abrasions. Legs with scratches, scrapes, dents, and finish loss in some areas, particularly near the lower areas. Base with some oxidation and abrasions commensurate with age and use. One leaf with accretions.
