Highly carved Chinese Chippendale style cabinet on stand. Pediment with open fretwork, flanked by dragons. Glass panel doors with classic Chippendale style muntins open to shelving and vermillion painted back panels. Frame with open fretwork frieze and legs, terminating in rock-form feet. Restored and refinished. Pediment 19 x 49 x 17.5 inches, cabinet 34 x 45.5 x 14 inches, base 36 x 48 x 16 inches. Provenance: Estate of Charles G. Pauli, Pittsburgh, PA.
