An early edition of the famous Leeser Bible, complete with the Pentateuch (Five Books of Moses), The Earlier and Later Prophets, and The Hagiographia (Psalms, Proverbs, etc.). In good condition, overall: recased, as noted, with sections of the original spine leather missing or present but quite dry; loss along the edges of the boards; binding is quite strong; no markings to the text; light age toning to the paper and very sporadic instances of faint foxing.
