Haskell, Jane (American/Pittsburgh, 1923-2013), Fire and Ice, 2004, neon and glass, in an acrylic box, 9 x 19.25 x 13.25 inches. Provenance: exhibited Artist of the Year, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, 2006; and Jane Haskell: Drawing in Light, 2016, American Jewish Museum, Pittsburgh, shown on page 152 of the catalog. A rare and striking neon work, showing the influence of two of Haskell's most important influences, Dan Flavin and James Turrell.
Condition
