Hetzel, Lila Barr (American/Western PA, 1873-1967), 2 original drawings, on cream colored paper: Rose Point, 1897, graphite, signed, dated and titled at the bottom, 8.25 x 10.5 inches, possibly showing Rose Point Park near New Castle, PA; Lane to S----, 1900, pen and ink, signed, dated and titled at the bottom, 11.5 x 14 inches, likely showing a scene in the Somerset area. Both unframed. Provenance: gift from the artist to a close family friend. Lila Hetzel was born in Edgewood, Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of George Hetzel who founded the Scalp Level School.
In fair condition, both with general age toning and staining, and also with chipping, creasing and losses along the edges.
