Taylor, Maggie (American, b.1961), Girl with Bee Dress - from the Solutions Beginning with A series, 2004, digital photograph, signed, dated and numbered 14/15 to the lower edge, image size 8 inches square, matted and framed 20 inches square. Taylor uses 21st century processes and montage techniques to layer multiple images to create the final prints. Her radical manipulation of her source images, but retention of photographic realism, results in an ironic, visual surrealism. Provenance: Fay Gold Gallery, Atlanta, GA.
