Taylor, Maggie (American, b.1961), Twilight Swim- from the Solutions Beginning with A series, 2004, digital photograph, signed, titled, dated and numbered 3/15 to the lower edge, image size 14.75 inches square, matted and framed 25 inches square. Taylor uses 21st century processes and montage techniques to layer multiple images to create the final prints. Her radical manipulation of her source images, but retention of photographic realism, results in an ironic, visual surrealism. Provenance: Verve Gallery, Santa Fe, NM.
