Bodoni, Giambattista, Manuale Tipografico del Cavaliere… complete in 3 volumes, number 813 of 900 copies, 1964-1965 facsimile reprint of the 1818 original by the famous Italian press of Franco Maria Ricci, large 4tos., fill black leather bindings, in original plastic jackets and slipcase. Provenance: deaccessioned from a regional institution; will include a letter of deaccession from the institution.
Two small library stamps, including one Withdrawn stamp, to the first page of text of each volume, also a library bookplate stamped Withdrawn affixed to the fly leaf of each volume; otherwise nearly fine, tight, bright and clean copies with some edgewear and bumping to the corners and spine ends; plastic jackets torn; slipcase good, bumped and rubbed but sturdy.
