Marquez, Gabriel Garcia, One Hundred Years of Solitude, 1970, First American edition, first printing with no number line in back, in a first issue dust jacket with exclamation point (!) at the end of the first paragraph and original price (7.95) present, Harper and Row, hardcover, green cloth. Marquez's most famous work and the most important magical realist novel of its time. Provenance: estate of pioneering computer scientist Allen Newell, with his wife Noel's signature on fly leaf.
Very Good in a Good dust jacket; spine slightly cocked; former owner's signature on fly leaf, but text clean and unmarked; DJ with slight sunning to the spine; 4.25 inch long slice/scratch to the rear panel; minor wear to the spine ends.
