Avery, Milton Clark (American, 1885-1965), Lavender Sea, 1948, watercolor and gouache on paper, 22 x 30 inches, signed and dated lower right, with artist's name and the title of the piece in pencil on the verso. Provenance: Marianne Friedland Gallery, Toronto Canada; The Estate of Jacquelin Wechsler, Pittsburgh, Pa. Exhibited Marianne Friedland Gallery 'Major Paintings and Works on Paper' 1981, illustrated in color in catalogue for the exhibition.
Condition
