Oak and melamine drafting set likely designed by Herb Seigle, American, Pittsburgh, mid to late 20th century. Set comprised of an oak task chair (manufacturer unknown), adjustable drafting table, and a two drawer filing cabinet. Table 30 (while flat) x 45.25 x 30 inches, cabinet 21.25 x 17 x 23.75 inches, chair 34.5 x 18 x 20 inches. Herb Seigle was a celebrated architect and designer, having designed many important commercial and residential homes in Western Pennsylvania, Manhattan, Nantucket, and Aventura FL. He was well known in Pittsburgh communities for his impeccable taste. Provenance: The estate of Dr. Marshall S. and Lois G. Levy, Pittsburgh.
