Clare, Oliver (British, 1853-1927), Still Life with Fruit, undated, signed in red lower right corner, 6 x 9 inches, in a gilded wood frame 9.5 x 12.5 inches. Provenance: Concept Gallery auction, June 2009; the personal collection of Gary S. Grimes, Pittsburgh. Gary was an expert on Western Pennsylvania art, and especially the Scalp Level painters.
