Pair of Finn Juhl (Danish, 1912-1989) for Baker Delegates armchairs, USA, 1950s. Walnut frames partially refinished, lacquered black. Sculptural armrests. Floating seats/backs with original upholstery. 33 × 30 × 32 inches each. Provenance: The personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski. Ed was co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg. He was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design. 

Condition

Frames in good vintage condition, apart from some previous repairs, particularly at the front rail of one. Frames are sturdy. The foam cushions are disintegrating. Upholstery ripped. Seats and backs require restoration and reupholstery.  Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
