Pair of Milo Baughman (American, 1923-2003) for Thayer Coggin 951 lounge chairs, USA, first designed in 1966. Polished flat bar steel frames with down wrapped cushions upholstered in white leather. Thayer Coggin labels on seats. Original shipping labels, shipped to Kaufmann's department store, on undersides. Approximately 30 x 29 x 31.5 inches. Provenance: Personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski, co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg, PA. Ed was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
