2 Paul McCobb (American, 1917-1969) for Calvin X-base square stools, USA, 1950s. Brass bases with X-form stretchers. One upholstered in black, one upholstered in white. Apparently unlabeled. 17 x 20 x 20 inches. Provenance: Personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski, co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg, PA. Ed was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
