Pair of Semi-Metal modernist side chairs attributed to Jean Prouve. Enameled steel frames, beech plywood seats and backs, plastic feet. Frames restored at one point with black lacquer. Unlabeled, signed and unmarked. 32.5 x 15.5 x 18.25 inches.

There are light cracks on the outer layers of the seats, not affecting functionality. The frames had been restored with black lacquer. There are some small spots of black lacquer on the undersides of the seats. One of the rear chair backs has incised/scratched initials and tally marks. There are age and usage related chips along the edges. One seat has a small gouge in one area. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
