Kuhler, Otto August (German/American, 1894-1977), Pair of Prints: The Stevens Crampton, Camden and Amboy RR, 1845 AND The DeWitt Clinton, Mohawk and Hudson RR, 1831, hand colored lithographs on paper, c.1937, both signed in pencil to lower right margin, images 11 x 14 inches, uniformly matted and framed 17.5 x 20.25 inches. Provenance: J. J. Gillespie Galleries, with original labels on the backing boards. The prints are related to the book Portraits Of The Iron Horse: The American Locomotive In Pictures And Story, which Kuhler illustrated and published in 1937.

Condition
