Dike, Phil Latimer (American, 1906-1990), American Town, with Trains Station, undated, c.1930s, watercolor, signed lower right, 13.5 x 21 inches, matted and framed 20 x 27 inches. Provenance: Ferargil Galleries; Pennsylvania Educational Institute; Skinner auctions, February, 1983, lot 346. A rare scene, showing young white children playing among a group of African-American women enjoying the sunshine and workers on horse and buggy.
