Garrett, Priscilla Longshore (American/Eastern PA, 1907-1992), The Milltown, 1962, watercolor on paper, signed and dated lower left, in a thin wood frame 31 x 23 inches. The image likely shows an old mill town in the Scranton / Eastern Pennsylvania region. Garrett completed her art studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art in 1932. Her first solo exhibition was held at the Everhart Museum in 1940 and featured paintings on the industrial landscape of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
