Garrett, Priscilla Longshore (American/Eastern PA, 1907-1992), Breaker Culm Dump No 7, 1941, woodcut on thin paper, signed, titled and dated in ink at bottom, impression 4 x 6 inches, full sheet 5 x 7 inches, matted and framed 9 x 12.5 inches. A striking image of a Scranton coal dump. Garrett completed her art studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art in 1932. Her first solo exhibition was held at the Everhart Museum in 1940 and featured paintings on the industrial landscape of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
