Loewy, Raymond Fernand (American/French, 1893-1986), T-1 Locomotive, 1978, lithograph printed in colors, image 14.75 x 24.75 inches, pencil signed and numbered 300/300, editioned at The American Atelier, New York City, published by Circle Fine Art with their blind stamps at lower left corner of the sheet, framed measuring 22.5 x 29.5 inches. This print reproduced a design for the T-1 train engine for Pennsylvania Railroad that Loewy drew in 1937. Each T-1 locomotive made the 713 mile trip from New York to Chicago with only one stop for fuel. 53 T-1s were built.
