Road to Tilleul, Normandy, watercolor on paper, 1878, 9 x 12.5 inches, matted and framed 15.5 x 18.5 inches, a solitary figure on a road in the woods of Tilleul, France, a small village in the Normandy region, painted after Gignoux left America and returned to his native country. Titles attributed from Gignoux's own notebook where he recorded all of his works and sales -- these with his inventory numbers 94 and 84, respectively, on the reverse.
