Gignoux, Regis (French/American, Hudson River School, 1816-1882), Lot of Three Mountain and Seascapes, c.1875, watercolors on paper, unsigned, 7.75 x 11.75, 7.25 x 12.5 and 9 x 12 inches, all framed individually. The coastal painting is likely of Normandy, France and the other two likely of the Swiss Alps, all locations favored by Gignoux upon his return to his native France in 1870. Provenance: From the estate of Arthur B. de Saint Maurice, the great-grandson of Regis Gignoux.
